THIS IS YOUR GUIDE TO A BETTER BUILDING! 

We know how important they are to the structure and appearance of the building, and that you would not be satisfied if you were offered something less. This is why each of these features is included on an Advanced Custom Structures LLC building. But you can't necessarilly expect all contractors to include them in their estimates, you may have to ask for them.

1. Fully Engineered trusses to meet local building code requirements. The roof system is      engineered for wind load and snow load.
2. Color coordinated screw fasteners, which provide three times the holding power of      nails with no hammer dents, leakage, or rust. This should be a must.
3. Hi-tensile siding and roofing of corugated steel for maximum strength. Many color      options to choose from.
4. Wide ridgecap, to protect against rain blow-back.
5. Corner and gable flashing to protect exposed metal and for dressing up the building.
6. #2 and better framing lumber, which carries about twice the load of utility grade.
7. Fully equipped sliding doors, including pullhandles and latches; track cover over entire      track; flashing around door edges to protect exposed wood and provide a finished      look; and heavy gauge metal side frames.
8. CCA or ACA pressure treated poles and skirtboards for longer life. Avoid material      painted with creosate or other treatment which rot wood at an early age. CCA or ACA      can be painted over.
9. Two 12" treated cleats on the bottom of each pole. Essential in high wind areas and for      snow loading.
10. Aluminum or vinyl sliding windows with double pane.
11. "C" metal flashing around all doors, windows, and other openings to cover exposed        rough metal and for dressing up the building.
12. A complete set of professionally drawn plans, so you know exactly what you're getting        before work starts.
13. Insulated metal walk-in doors with metal jambs and keyed locks.
14. Optional Commercial Girts (6" Walls), aids in case of insulating and applying a finished        interior wall.
15. Base metal trim keeps rodents from crawling into the building.
